The 2014 holiday season is in full swing, and I would like to wish everyone joyous and healthy IMG_7427holidays and a happy and prosperous New Year to come.

I always enjoy the end of the year even though it’s usually the most hectic time for our business. Amidst the chaos of all the holiday promotions, it’s also the time to look back and review what we’ve done in the past year and look ahead to plan where we want to go next. It’s both exciting and exhausting at the same time. But in the end, we always wrap up the year with holiday cheer and a few bottles of champagne.

2014 has been an exciting year for Crispy Green. We have added many new stores to our distribution network, including some major national chains such as Safeway and Schnucks. We also expanded our market internationally to Canada and Mexico, and we continue to meet our sales target and growth trajectory.

We have also continued to strengthen our business structure. We hired Greg Tomkins to be our part-time CFO late last year, and he has added tremendous value by providing Crispy Green with vigorous fiscal controls and sound financial planning and monitoring. We also retained WithumSmith+Brown as our accounting firm. These changes have set the foundation for Crispy Green to take on escalated growth in the coming years.

As a business owner, I subscribe to a philosophy that is: start small, control risk and grow steadily. So far, this model has served us well. While some of our competitors have hit rock bottom recently due to financial trouble, Crispy Green is thriving. Our financial stability and solid business foundation allow us to continue to provide high quality products to our customers without making compromises.

Integrity and trust are the major principles guiding the Crispy Green brand. Having financial independence is the key to achieving these goals. In the coming year, Crispy Green will continue offering our consumers the best freeze-dried fruit snacks on the market with more purchasing options as well as product variety.
