Ryan Youngman Joins #1 Freeze-Dried Fruit Brand to Drive Strategic Growth and Distribution Expansion Plans

Ryan brings a unique set of experience and capabilities in leading natural emerging brands as they go through rapid growth. Having held leadership roles in retail (Whole Foods) and distribution (United Natural Foods Inc)as well as helped build brands like Brad‘s Raw Foods and Fresca Foodshe will lead the sales team and drive strategy and execution of Crispy Green’s expansion plan. 

Ryan has built an impressive career with a solid presence in the Natural and CPG categories.  One of his many accomplishments includes winning the UNFI Western Region MVP Award for channel development and overall sales. Ryan has held the titles CEO, CSO, Executive Vice President, Director of Sales, GM, Grocery Director and Managing Member. Regardless of the title he has held, he has proven to be a go-getter and innovative thinker, consistently rolls out unique and successful sales programs resulting in enhanced sales and profitability.

Crispy Green Spring Campaign Launches in Sync with WH & CDC’s “Opening Up America Again”  

Fairfield, NJ – May 5, 2020 – Like many consumer brands, Crispy Green, makers of Crispy Fruit Freeze-Dried Snacks, has delayed and modified its spring campaign plans due to COVID 19. However, as the country begins slowly opening up for business, Crispy Green is also thoughtfully moving forward with its Crispy Green Go Campaign. Founder and CEO, Angela Liu stated, “We are optimistic that the worst of the pandemic is behind us as we cautiously move forward. Crispy Green is grateful that we are able to proceed with this campaign while the Spring is still with us.”

As most of the world has been on lockdown for the last couple of months due to COVID-19, this campaign comes at a perfect time as some of the shelter-in-place restrictions are being lifted. While people are excited about going outside and getting active again, Crispy Green reminds everyone to follow state guidelines and proceed with caution.  

 

Crispy Green Go Campaign Highlights 

The Crispy Green brand was born out of founder and CEO Angela Liu’s desire to provide healthy, clean and delicious snacks to people who wish to live a healthier lifestyle.  Since 2004, the company has been selling its #1 freeze-dried fruit snack line, Crispy Fruit. The Crispy Green Go campaign amplifies this goal further by engaging with fans at many levels. 

To begin with, the company introduced the first annual Crispy Green Design Scholarship Award for NJ college students as a way to support the local community. Participating students were tasked with creating an original design to fit the campaign. The winning image shown here was created by Kaitlyn Smits, a design student at Fairleigh Dickinson University. The Crispy Green team awarded a $500 scholarship check to Smits for the design she worked on.

Janet Torres Joins #1 Freeze-Dried Fruit Brand to Continue Sales Growth and Distribution Expansion Plans in 2020 

Fairfield, NJ – February 4, 2020 – Crispy Green continues its growth trajectory by bringing Janet Torres on board to provide strategic planning assistance and regional sales activities to meet the expanding demands of the sales team.  Ms. Torres brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this role and will be a solid asset to the team. 

In addition to her significant experience in the sales growth of major CPG players such as Hershey, Nestle, Lindt and several others, Ms.Torres brings extensive business education to the table, including an MBA from Auburn University along with CPCA Certification for category management and completion of the Executive Scholar’s Program from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.  She also has impressive experience with major retailers including Kroger, Harris Teeter, Lowes, etc. and is bilingual.
